It is 5:37am on my first day off all week. The day for which I was trully relishing the thought of sleeping in. At 5:28am, the fire alarm went off.
It's really, really loud.
I'm sitting in the bathtub with a pillow, where my noise reducing earphones, because the only quieter place I could possibly find besides (as the front desk person suggested) going to sit in my car.
But that would be colder as well as quieter.
I hope this doesn't happen often here.
